Sudhir Syal is President at Orios Venture Partners, where he leads the firm’s growth across the UAE–India corridor through strategic capital partnerships, ecosystem development, and investments across consumer, defence, media, and emerging technology sectors. He also drives the firm’s thought leadership initiatives, strengthening Orios’ presence among founders, investors, and institutions globally.
With over 15 years of experience as an entrepreneur, operator, and ecosystem builder, Sudhir has led the international expansion of leading consumer brands including BookMyShow and Lenskart across the Middle East and Southeast Asia. He began his career with ET NOW, where he created and produced one of India’s first television programmes focused on startups and venture capital in 2008. This combination of operating experience, venture ecosystem expertise, and cross-border market building shapes his approach to partnering with founders and investors.
